When it comes to cake, everyone deserves a slice — and at Baked by Tallulah, I truly mean everyone. Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, or juggling multiple dietary restrictions, my goal is simple: to create beautiful cakes that are safe, inclusive, and absolutely delicious.
100% Vegan, Always 🌱
Let’s start with the basics: Everything I bake is 100% vegan — no eggs, no dairy, and no animal products, ever.
That means:
No butter or cream
No milk or buttermilk
No gelatin or honey
No “surprise” animal-based ingredients in frostings or fillings
But don’t worry — I’ve perfected recipes that still taste rich, fluffy, and full of flavor. I use ingredients like coconut cream, almond milk, vegan butter, and other plant-based magic to keep things moist and satisfying.
Not Just Vegan — Allergy-Friendly Too
I know how stressful it can be to find a cake that works for you (or your kid, or your friend, or your whole party). That’s why I offer desserts that are not only vegan, but also available as:
Gluten-Free
Nut-Free
Soy-Free
Refined Sugar-Free (by request)
Corn-Free or Coconut-Free (with limited options)
Each cake is baked in a small-batch kitchen where I take extra care to avoid cross-contact. I don’t use shared dairy or egg equipment — everything is already vegan — but I’m happy to talk through your specific allergy needs to make sure it’s a safe and sweet experience.
Your Cake Shouldn’t Feel Like a Compromise 🎂
If you’ve ever had a dry, crumbly, cardboard-tasting “healthy” cake… I feel you.
But here’s the thing: baking for dietary needs doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor or design. My cakes are:
Soft, moist, and never chalky
Beautifully decorated to match your event vibe
Made with high-quality ingredients you can actually pronounce
Customizable in flavor and texture — from light and fluffy to rich and fudgy
Whether it’s a vintage piped birthday cake, a simple carrot cake with fondant toppers, or a dreamy two-tier wedding cake, I work with you to create something that feels just right.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your gluten-free cakes also vegan? Yes! All of my cakes are always 100% vegan. You can add gluten-free (and other dietary needs) as needed — no animal products here.
Do you use dairy substitutes? Yup! I use a mix of plant milks (like oat, almond, or coconut), vegan butters, coconut cream, and other plant-based ingredients to replace dairy in every recipe.
Do you offer soy-free or nut-free options? I do! Many of my cakes can be made soy-free or nut-free — just let me know when you fill out your order form, and I’ll guide you through the best options.
Is your kitchen allergen-free? While my kitchen is vegan and egg/dairy-free by default, I do work with nuts, soy, and gluten-containing ingredients unless otherwise requested. However, I sanitize carefully and take cross-contact seriously — especially for custom allergy-friendly cakes.
